We are really pleased to announce that we have created six new apprentice posts, contracted for 35 hours per week, to work within our Supported Living Department.

From the 26th of march we will pay the apprentice's the October 2015 rate of £3.30, and not from 1st October.

We also pay an attendance bonus of £25 for a full week worked.

Residential Home

Residential home registered for 11 people with Learning disabilities. The successful candidate will require patience. They will have an ability to work with differing needs and abilities. They will be supporting peoples in all areas of their lives.

Domiciliary Care

The successful candidate will be traveling to people’s homes to help them with washing, dressing, making food, taking medication. Some calls may require to people is the person needs hoisting.

If you are looking for weekend work, mornings, evenings, full time contracted hours, we will give full training, so if you have experience or not we will ensure you know all you need to support people the way they need.

Supported Living

Successful candidates will be supporting people to engage in meaning full actives that will support the person to learn new skills and become independent aiding in their progression . The person may need to some domiciliary work but would be in one location.

Due to winning a substantial contact of support Cephas is currently recruiting for a new project in Ipswich, we require:

7 Support workers - 35 contracted hours per week

1 Deputy Team Leader- 35 contract hours per week

We welcome also job sharing and other who wish to work less than 35hrs per week, will be on a shift basis between 7am & 10pm Monday - Sunday.

This project is supporting people with moderate learning disabilities within their own flats.

Support will be an enablement program including some personal care, Community Access, and promoting independence.

This is open to all Cephas Staff and people wishing to join Cephas Care.

The successful candidate will be supporting the person to progress in areas of their life. Helping people to learn and keep personal budgets, supporting with appointments, supporting the person with their well being.
