• Cephas Care supports young people aged 16 and 17 years to live in their own accommodation. • Cephas is a ‘needs based’ service and will consider all referrals, we do not attach labels to people. • We put together a Person Centred Package to meet the needs of the young person. |
• We feel it important to provide a small, stable team of caring staff.
• We will usually appoint a team of 4 staff to each person. This allows continuity of care and ensures flexibility in time, so staff can be trained to meet the person’s needs.
• Our hope is that we can reduce the hours of support needed over time; as we don’t feel it is in the young person best interest to become too dependent on staff support.
• We can support young people to access training programmes or an apprenticeship, arranged through YMCA or other training organisations.
• A safe and homely environment gives young people space and time to find a clear steady pathway towards a happy and fulfilled life.
