Cephas Community Care was started in 1994 by Chris and Jane Hewson. They began with the purchase of the first residential home Inchmahome.

Cephas Care converted a hotel near stownmarket to form 3 self contained flatlets. They enjoy shared communal areas and large garden.

Multi-tenancy accomodation for six adults (LD) We encourage individuality and independence, whilst supporting people to make choices and gain skills. Staff are friendly, experienced and highly trained in order to provide suitable support. People enjoy the busy atmosphere of Ipswich market town.

Inchmahome was opened in February 1994 for four people with Learning Disabilities. As they grew and developed another house was required to meet the differing needs. Inchmahome has a very progressive approach to self-development and self-advocacy. The small, gentle environment enables people to explore and develop their full potential. |

Treetops was opened in 1996 support adults who challenged their environment. Staff have specialist training. |

The Old Rectory, an impressive old house for 8 people with Learning Difficulties aged 50+ The quiet atmosphere reflects the needs of the people living here, but don’t be deceived! Everyone takes an active role in the house and local community. |

Dunsland is a 3 minute walk from the sea. Registered for 14 people with learning disabilities. The people who live in here take great pride in their home. |
